Bad Timing

C2-104324          Occurred: 11/20/22

Lincoln Police Officers were in the parking lot of Russ’s Market, 33rd/Nebraska Parkway, on unrelated matters when store employees flagged them down and informed them a man was trying to take off after stealing liquor from the store. Officers approached the dark colored minivan he was in and asked him to get out of the driver’s seat multiple times, but he refused. Officers attempted to pull him out, but he resisted. Officers then drew tasers at which time the suspect quickly closed his door and locked it. The suspect put the vehicle into drive and grazed the side of the building as he fled from officers. He was described as a Hispanic male, approximately 25-30 years of age, wearing a star patterened face mask, cross around his neck, and driving a dark colored minivan with front end damage and a white hood. If you know who this suspect is, say it here!
