We’ve got a lot of activity that happened just outside of Lincoln over the course of a couple days. The activity began on August 3rd when a maroon Buick LeSabre was stolen from a driveway near 162nd and O Street. Within that same hour, another vehicle, a white Kia Sorento, was also stolen from the 154th and Van Dorn area. It was recovered not even a mile away from where it was stolen. However the Buick LeSabre is a vehicle we are still looking for. We had a sighting of it at a Walmart in Omaha about 6 hours after it was stolen. Cameras at that Walmart gave us a suspect image which we are sharing here today. LSO was able to tie this together because a wallet that was stolen from a 3rd vehicle around the same time of the car thefts gave a transaction history that led to that particular Walmart video. Video was also received from a resident in Yutan, NE which is closer to the Omaha border, where they spotted this same suspect taking items from their vehicle around 4:30am, just before the suspect hit Walmart. And lastly, information was received that a stolen Ford Escape that was located near 98th and Fletcher may also be connected to this same suspect. In total, that is at least five cases LSO has with one outstanding stolen vehicle and one suspect we are hoping someone can identify for us. If you can help, say it here!
