Smashed

Case # C0-006182                      Date:  1-22-2020

A burglary was reported at Cloud 9 Smokeshop, 5022 Old Cheney.   Video surveillance showed that around 3:47 am, a white male approached the front door of the business, but eventually walked away.  At 3:58 am, the male returned carrying a rock.  The rock was thrown through the glass door and the male entered the business.   He walked around the counter and removed a box of butane fluid, a box of Swisher Sweets and the jar of money from the counter.  The male exited the store, walking away north from the business.  The male is in his 50’s to 60’s with a white beard.  If you can help us identify the suspect, please call LPD or Say it here!

Swiper

C0-008135       Occurred: 1/27/20

The victim in this case was enjoying lunch at Granite City when a man that was seated behind her accessed her purse and allegedly took her credit card. The credit card was used at Best Buy to purchase a $2500 Mac Book, then a failed attempt occurred at Target on S. 56th to purchase another $1480 worth of Apple products. Video was provided from Granite City, Best Buy, and Target. The male shown above is consistent in all of the videos. He is seen driving a 2017 or newer white Honda CRV. Card Wars: The Clone Wars

B9-096014             Occurred: 10/4/19-10/5/19

The victim in this case reported someone cloned his credit card number and used his credit card for over $3,500 at various retailers in Lincoln. The transactions were traced back to Walmart on 84th/Fremont, Hyvee on 84th/Holdrege, and Dollar General on 68th/P. All three businesses provided surveillance and the above male suspect was shown on camera each time. He was accompanied on one occasion by a female, and they were traveling in a newer white sedan. Distraction Technique

B9-113688             Occurred: 12/5/19

Footlocker at Gateway Mall reported a male and female came into the store, and while the male distracted the employees with questions and conversation, the female loaded up her H&M bags with merchandise. They provided video of the above man and woman. If you happen to know who they are, please say it here!

“Sorry, no more alcohol for you today.”

B9-115954         Occurred: 12/13/19

Russ’s Market on N. 66th reported a man came into the store and was very obviously intoxicated. He attempted to purchase alcohol, but was refused service due to his intoxication level. He became quite upset about not being able to purchase alcohol, and ended up smashing two bottles of alcohol on the floor before leaving. He was described as a Native American male in his 20’s with a marijuana leaf tattoo on his left forearm. Russ’s provided surveillance images as shown above. Chicken & Coffee

Russ’s Market on Coddington and West A began watching a man because he was acting suspicious upon entering the store. He then went to the deli where he ordered a chicken meal, and grabbed a coffee, before walking out the front door without paying for any of it. Russ’s Market provided images of this male, and they say he left in a Penske rental truck. If you recognize him, say it here!

Multi-Mistake

Menards reported  a man came into their N. 27th location, selected a Leatherman multi-tool off the shelf and proceeded to break it, then took it up to customer service where he exchanged it for a new one. They provided video of this male suspect. If you know who he is, say it here!

Taxi!

A taxi driver dropped off a man in the area of 33rd and Y Street. He said he needed to run inside to get his wallet, but never returned. A camera from inside the taxi captured images of the suspect. If you recognize this person, say it here!

Robbery

Kwik Shop on 44th and Cornhusker reported a man came into the store, concealed a bottle of alcohol in his jacket sleeve, and left without paying. They provided video surveillance of the man shown above as the suspect. The store clerk believes he may have had tear drops tattooed on his neck. If you recognize him, say it here!

SUSPECT IDENTIFIED!

Walmart on N. 85th/Fremont reported a woman came into the store and pretended to scan some of her items. They confronted her at the door at which time she refused to show her receipt. One of the alleged stolen items was recovered, but not all of them. She left with the male also shown in images above provided by Walmart. Car-Hop

A resident in the area of 34th and Garfield went to get in his truck in the morning to head to work when he noticed someone had been in it. He reviewed his surveillance and saw someone entering into all 3 vehicles in his driveway overnight. He provided video which shows the male above with a backpack rummaging through the vehicles. Super Saver on 27th/Cornhusker reported a female came into the store. She walked to the baking aisle, grabbed a cake mix and frosting, and walked right out of the store. An employee at Casey’s gas station on 55th and Superior reported she was working the register when a man came behind the counter, grabbed cigarettes, and left without paying for them. Casey’s provided surveillance of the male shown above as the suspect. If you know who he is, say it here!

Gloves

B9-108896          Occurred: 11/19/19

Walgreens on 13th and O reported a man came into the store and was asking customers for money. Employees asked him to leave, at which time he grabbed two pairs of gloves and placed them under his hoodie. Store employees confronted him again and he handed over one pair of gloves, but left with the second pair. Walgreens provided surveillance video of the male suspect shown above. Merry Christmas….?

An auto shop near 31st and South Street was the victim of a reverse Santa Claus on Christmas night. Instead of coming to leave gifts, the suspect came to the lot and rummaged through vehicles overnight. The store provided surveillance images of the male suspect. If you recognize him, say it here!

Vodka To-Go

Hyvee at 50th and O reported a man came into the store and put a bottle of vodka down his pants. An employee saw this and confronted him at the exit, asking him to hand over the vodka or set the bottle down, at which time the male took off. $1400 Worth of Lottery Tickets

B & B Convenience store on N. 33rd and Folkways reported a man came into the store, grabbed the box containing $1400 worth of lottery tickets, and ran off with it. A store employee chased him down and caught up to him, taking back the box of tickets, but the man ran off. B & B provided surveillance images of the male suspect shown above and they say is responsible for this. If you know who he is, say it here!

Target on N. 48th reported a man came into the store with a woman and a baby. The man departed to the electronics section where they say he stuffed an X-Box controller down his pants. He met back up with the female and baby and they all left the store. Images above were provided by Target. Tattoos and dollar bills

Super Saver at 27th/Cornhusker had a female customer pay for $50 worth of merchandise.  She handed the clerk 2 twenties and a ten.   The  top bill was a real $20 bill.  The $20 and $10 bill underneath were fake bills, which only had one side printed. Surveillance video shows this female with some recognizable tattoos, so If you have any info, Say it Here or call LPD.

Walmart on Andermatt Drive reported a man came into the store and concealed a propane heater under his jacket. They provided video of this male suspect. If you know who he is, help us out and Say it Here!

Fraud Alert

C0-004873               Occurred: 1/17/20

The victim in this case reported her purse was stolen from her vehicle. It was later recovered in the trash can at Walmart on Andermatt Drive. Walmart provided surveillance and video showed two male suspects responsible for transactions on the victim’s credit cards: the one in the red shirt with the yellow and striped hat, and the person in white with a black vest walking behind him (first two images). The card was also used at JCPenney’s which showed another male in a denim looking patchwork jacket, and a female wearing a black jacket, accompanying them. New Shoes
